Retail Therapy!

Stacy and I met up early this morning and made our way to the outlets in Jeffersonville, Ohio. We got started late due to a wreck on the Nitro/St.Albans bridge which put us behind about an hour and a half. We had breakfast at Bob Evans before stopping at the Grandview Weekend Outlet first. We finally made it to the outlets and found a few good deals. We stopped at Olive Garden and Hobby Lobby on the way back home.

Well that was a total FAIL!!

I took off work today and made plans for Lincoln and I since he would be with Andrew starting Thursday night and I would get him back until Wednesday. First stop we visited my co workers since they haven't seen Lincoln in a long time. We saw Steve first and he even sang "Row Row Row your Boat" for him. He didn't really talk to anyone else, I guess he was a little shy. Then we had breakfast at Tim Horton's before going to the movies. Lincoln was so excited to see Winne the Pooh but that quickly changed. The more we walked down the dark hallway the tighter he would squeeze my hand. He started saying No No so I went back out into the lobby. I picked him up after about 5 minutes and made it all the way down the hallway with him crying and screaming. He was saying Bye Bye over and over. The previews came on and Kermit the Frog did nothing for him but the Lion King preview calmed him a little. As soon as that went off he was back to screaming. Then he asked for a bottle and to go to bed so we got our money back and left. I even drove all the way to the Teays Valley Cinemas because all they other ones were during nap time and this one started at 10:20 a.m. I think it reminded him of the haunted house at Camden Park. We made a quick stop in K Mart then enjoyed the rest of the day in the pool at Gigi's. Momaw and Popaw came out and brought pizza for lunch. Lincoln is getting so good in the pool. Last weekend I showed him how to float on his back and last night he was trying to do it himself. He isn't scared of going under or getting water in his eyes. I cannot wait to watch him play in the ocean and in the big pool at the beach!!

Why not take a bath in a plastic container outside on the deck? Lincoln got in this container and said "bath bath", Corey went inside and got the bubbles...LOL!!!

Saturday

This morning Lincoln and I picked up breakfast at Panera Bread then headed out to Gigi and Popaws. We were planning on going to Water Ways but the sun never came out and looked like it was going to storm. We took a nap and went to the mall and had dinner at Chili's. After the mall we went to visit Aunt Jewell, Momaw was there visiting too.

Camden Park

Yesterday I took the day off work and took Lincoln to Camden Park. He loves riding rides! Momaw, Popaw and Gigi came along too. His favorite ride was either the log flume or the roller coaster. He hated the Haunted House and didn't care too much for the Tilt-a-Whirl. On Thursdays during the summer they have a small petting zoo, music and balloons for the kids.

Ahoy Mate! Ethan's Pirate Party!

Saturday was Lincoln's best friend Ethan's second birthday party. Amy had everything decorated so cute. Her Mother-in-Law made the kids pirate hats and she is going to make Ethan a blanket out of the table clothes. The kids enjoyed swimming, swinging and the bouncy house. Lincoln loves it at their house!
