45 weeks

Our Weekend...

a little late. Saturday Morning Lincoln and I went shopping with my mom. Lincoln is so wonderful in public now. I feel like he has been switched with another baby! He keeps getting happier and happier. We went to Hobby Lobby, Huntington Mall, Target, AC Moore and Dollar Tree. He didn't even have to be carried ANY! Lincoln stayed in his stroller or buggy the whole time and that was with only a few snacks! We ate lunch at Chili's and he pigged out as usual. He ate 3 jars of baby food and I ordered him some broccoli. He is so nosey too. I wonder where he gets that from...lol! This one table was paying him a lot of attention and once they got there food they stopped, well he didn't like that and wanted them to talk to him so he started yelling at them! Before we went into Target Lincoln feel asleep in the car. My mom carried him in and we placed him in the back of a buggy. He stayed passed out almost the whole time.

Saturday night Andrew and I went to dinner and Lincoln stayed and Granny and Pewpaws house. Sunday morning Andrew and I went to church for the first time at Bible Center. We really enjoyed it. The message was on marriage. We ran into Paul and Connie. They took us to lunch at Red Lobster! This coming Sunday we are going to take Lincoln and put him in the nursery. Sunday evening we went to Sam's and had dinner at Panera Bread. Andrew ordered soup in a bread bowl and well Lincoln LOVED it. When it was gone he cried for more so Andrew had to go buy another cup! You can always tell when he really likes something he keeps his hands on the table.

These pictures are from a couple weeks ago. I got Lincoln a balloon for Valentines Day and he LOVED it. He pulled it from room to room. He wouldn't take the string out of his mouth.

Momaw cooked spaghetti so I decided to let Lincoln try some real food! This was before the Chinese food. He loved it!!

Happy Birthday Mom!!

Last night we celebrated my Mom's birthday. She wanted to have Chinese. Lincoln pigged out! Not on the Chinese food of course. He enjoyed mac-n-cheese which was his favorite, banana, jello, sweet potatoes and he hated the hard boiled egg!! He screamed because he didn't like it! He LOVED our waitress though. Momaw said it was probably because he thought she was Dora!! He was really amazed by her.

Lincoln wold not stay still.... I made my mom a cheesecake for her birthday. It was my first time making one and it turned out really good!

10 Months

Lincoln @ 10 Months

You went to the doctor today to get your 2nd flu shot and didn't even cry! You weighed 26 lbs 4 oz but you had a wet diaper on so I am guessing 26 lbs.

You are so happy and on the move all the time!!

New food- Tastes of- toast, real milk, rice, beets (you loved them and cried for more), Lima beans

A real sweet pot, broccoli, Graduates chicken ravioli, turkey ravioli, spaghetti o's (you didn't like) a raspberry (you made a face and spit it out!), Applebees mashed potato's (you didn't like), gold fish crackers, baked potatoes (you love)


I think you favorite foods right now are bread & baked potatoes!

You know how to push the buttons on your toy truck.

You are starting to bite and pull hair

You love balloons!! I got you one for Valentines Day and you have carry/pull it around ALL day long!


You know the words- jump, no, lay down, dance, doggie, tree, TV, outside, Prissy, sock and light


When you see your snack cup you cry for a snack (gold fish, puffs, crunches, yogurt melts)

You love being held upside down

You will flip pages in your books and sometimes pretend like you are reading them

If someone is eating something you want some too. I think you could eat 24/7

You wave at everything now

You will watch Baby Einstein and Dora

You try and put things on your head. This is really cute!

I started washing your clothes in out detergent and you haven't had any problems.

You have 6 teeth, 3 on top and 3 on the bottom. You have one on top getting ready to come through and its been bothering you all week. We also started brushing your teeth.

You wear 18 month clothes

Size 4 diapers in regular and overnights

At bedtime if you haven't went to sleep on your bottle I lay you down and you will go to sleep but I have to sing to you!

You love the books "God knows all about me", Spot and this Teddy Bear Book (you want all of these read over and over!)

You took your first two steps on Feb 3 at Granny's house. It was from the couch to your push walker. I didn't see you take your first steps until the next week. You have been taking several steps every day since.

You still hate getting dressed and your coat put on

You have started pointing if you want something or if you want us to take you in a different room

You can push your "jail" across the room! You are sooo strong!!

Only 2 times this month I have given you a bottle in the middle of the night. You had been sleeping all night until 5 and then a bottle then you would sleep until 6, but this past week you have woke up every night around 12-3! Last night you slept ALL night until 6:30!! So who knows whats going to happen from day to day.

You are basically on the same schedule as last month except you have snacks throughout the day and water.

Valentines Day

Andrew and I celebrated Valentines Day early on last Wednesday. He went out of town to Kentucky for the Nike Coaches Clinic. We enjoyed dinner at our favourite restaurant...

Andrew left early Friday morning and returned Sunday afternoon. He had a great time with the guys and they had lots of good food. There favorite was Marks feed Store and a place called Burritos as big as your head!

I stayed at Momaw and Popaws Friday night and Mom and Dad's on Saturday night. Friday Jewell and Momaw went to see the Elvis Tribute. I had gotten them tickets for Christmas. Once Andrew got home on Valentine's Day we went to Momaw Starchers for a dinner. I couldn't get a very good picture of Lincoln but his shirt said "Lover Boy!" Lincoln got lots of nice Valentines. Grammie and Popaw John got him a stuffed Winnie the Pooh, Momaw and Popaw got him a stuffed Ape, Granny and Pepaw got him Silly Town and Andrew and I got him a book and a Dora DVD.

43 weeks

Walking!!

Lincoln took his first steps last Wednesday at my mom's house and has taken a few steps everyday since. Today is the first day I witnessed it though. I have to admit I did shed a few tears! When I got my camera out he took about 7 steps!!! Check out the video...

Finally

Popaw finally came home from the hospital yesterday after 2 weeks. He still has to have 2 rounds of medicine a day through his PICC Line for the infections and will stay on blood thinner for the rest of his life. Home health care nurses will be coming for the next few days to show Momaw how to care for the PICC Line.

Our weekend

We started off our weekend by going to dinner with Michelle and Daniel at Longhorn. We had a great time. Lincoln loves them! Saturday morning Andrew had to work so Lincoln and I was snowed in and he enjoyed his ball pit and playing with the TV stand! After Andrew got off work we took Lincoln to Granny and Pepaws house to spend the night. Then we went to visit Popaw at the hospital. He should get to come home tomorrow...finally!! We spent the rest of the evening watching Prison Break on DVD. Sunday morning Andrew had to work and I cleaned the house. We went to pick Lincoln when Andrew got off work then stopped by Lowes and Krogers.
