17 Months

You are starting to play more. You like blocks and small figures of big bird, Elmo, cookie monster, etc.

You can do a somersault.

You will no longer keep a bib on.

You will smile when I asked you to smile. It's a different smile though where you scrunch your nose up.

You are constantly on the go getting up on all the couches, trying to open all doors and touching every counter or table.

You had your first kiss by Francessca at a football game and you also ran into her the next week at the park with Grammie.

Shy around people you don't know.

You can stack your blocks.

You are becoming bossy-pointing your finger where you want everyone to sit or pulling us where you want us to go.

You love opening up Daddy's closet and getting his ties.

You used to be so good at letting someone brush your teeth but now its a struggle because you want to do it.

New Food- plum, potato salad (loved), hot dog, nectarine, bologna(Papaw gave you this), peanuts, salad, pumpkin pie

You mostly use your left hand when trying to use a fork/spoon.

You like to color with crayons.

You always take your right sock and shoe off as soon as you get in the car!

You know almost have 16 teeth all the way through.

You want everything in its right spot. If something falls, spills, etc you point and want someone to fix it.

You will play hide and seek. You think if you have your eyes covers no one can see you.

You love medicine (not that we give it too you all the time!)

You give hugs and kisses all day!

We have started time outs and you will sit the whole minute. After the minute is up we tell you, you can get up and tell you again what you did wrong.
You got your first scraped knee at the park with Grammie and you didn't even cry!

You have really started using the potty chair. You go at least once a day but usually 2-3 one day you even went 4 times.

You can be the sweetest little thing then 2 seconds later smack, hit or bite!!!
You wear 2t and even some 3t shirts.
Diapers- still size 4
You wave to everyone.
You had your first antibiotic and first sick visit to the doctor over an ear infection.
